Be careful where you're walking
You might step in something rough
Be careful when you're talking
and saying all that stuff
Take care when you are breathing
Something's funny in the air
And some things they're not saying
'bout what's happening out there

I came upon my cd of the Traveling Wilburys the other day, and it's been in heavy rotation since. I don't think I have any Beatles records, but George Harrison's voice is so beautiful, and you can usually pick out his beautiful guitar lines, too. I listened to "Inside Out," about 4 times yesterday. Just the bridge there is so cool. And you have Bob Dylan starting it out with his froggy, late-80's voice on these lyrics that are just so plain. But the bridge totally changes the song.

I woke up super early this morning. Must be nervous for Obama. I had a post-yoga visit with a couple of friends at Big Chicks last night, and we raised a toast to Bush's last day in office. I know Obama's not perfect, but he's certainly one of the best we've seen in some time... it's like going from worst to first in baseball or something.

I'm up early, so I might as well go to work early / get home early.

Yes, you can usually recognise George's guitar. I thought I heard him in one of the songs when I was listening to Under the Red Sky, and it turned out he really did play the guitar there.
