Update from Jim
Sep. 30th, 2008 10:04 pmIt looks like they've found snow on Mars. Just in time for Christmas, you know? I am looking foward to that movie coming out later this year. It's been in production for a long time.
I feel a little better and less stressed. I’ve been working more reasonable hours, and spent some time over the weekend with people who I hadn't seen in a good while. My mom is coming to visit in a few weeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing her. Her coming to visit is different than my brother or dad coming to visit. I feel like I can plan more adventurous things for us to do, and she will look forward to them. So far we're going to Frank Lloyd Wright houses, and eating pizza. :) Maybe we will pick a restaurant from their list? I also want to go to Hot Doug's. I've never been there.
It makes me feel really good for Linux folks (who I am out to) to be purposefully inviting me to go out tomorrow. We're going to meet up in the Loop for a drink or 12. Then I'm going to watch the VP debates on Thursday. I might need to be drunk for that one. I'm concerned that Palin will have an "on" night somehow, and will "win" that debate with witty put-downs and sufficient regurgitation of talking points.
